Akaal Sweets opened its doors in Mississauga in 2022, but the recipes we cook with go back much further than that. Everything on our menu, from our dal makhni to our festival mithai, comes from more than 20 years of family cooking tradition, refined in home kitchens long before it ever reached a restaurant plate.
We didn’t set out to open “another Indian restaurant.” We set out to bring the food we grew up eating to a city that deserved the real thing: fresh, fully vegetarian, and made without shortcuts.
